I see many corollaries between working with Bonsai and in trying to be a good person getting along in my life.

The more I think about this the more grateful I am for learning about this great hobby or passion and joy in my life.

As I learn about the processes and techniques involved in bonsai the more I learn about the earth and my relationship to, and dependence on good ole ‘Mother Nature”. It also teaches me there is a higher power that controls life, and I need to apply what I can learn from that power and Bonsai in my own internal psyche to be happier, healthier and more productive.

Here are a few of the things I have learned from Bonsai. I hope you relate to them, understand what is behind each idea, accept them and then think of why you also are a better person because of Bonsai.
